Building Principal (or designee) and Facilities Director

Qualifications: High School Graduate or G.E.D. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.

• Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean.
• Shovels and sands walks, driveways, parking areas, and steps, as appropriate.
• Cleans, services, and disinfects all staff and student restrooms daily.
• Cleans, services, and disinfects all water fountains and fill-stations daily.
• Keeps the grounds free from rubbish, including daily cleaning of the courtyard after lunches.
• Assists first-shift custodial team with all areas of daily operations, including daily checks of doors, cleaning corridors, common spaces, and classrooms.
• Makes such minor building repairs as he is capable of.
• Reports major repairs needed promptly to administration.
• Reports immediately to the principal any damage to school property.
• Remains on the school premises during school hours, and during non‑school hours when the use of the building has been authorized and his attendance is required by the principal.
• Conducts an ongoing program of general upkeep.
• Moves furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by the principal.
• Complies with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, and waste.
• Report to other school buildings as assigned.
• Any other duties assigned by the building Principal (or designee) and Facilities Director.
