Position: Maintenance Staff/Driver (Part-Time)

Maintenance Staff/Driver (Part‑time) – 12 Oaks Senior Living

Join to apply for the Maintenance Staff/Driver (Part‑time) role at 12 Oaks Senior Living. This part‑time position supports the cleanliness, safety, and usability of the community by maintaining grounds, buildings, and equipment. The Maintenance Staff reports directly to the Director of Maintenance and follows community work orders.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
  • Performs typical maintenance support throughout the facility.
  • Detects and reports questionable conditions to the Director of Maintenance.
  • Maintains and repairs walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, and door/locks.
  • Stocks maintenance supplies for work areas.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner as per training received.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications &

Physical Requirements
  • Highly professional and dependable.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift more than 50 pounds, and spend long periods of time walking or standing.
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi‑task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be familiar with and able to use all hand tools and power tools common to the associated trades.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two years of experience preferred.
  • Experienced in a wide variety of trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical) and the tools associated with them.
