Technician - Local

Small privately owned company looking for a technician to join their growing company. If you are local to the area and have some experience in a manufacturing setting with color testing, this could be a great fit for you!

• Produce, inspect, pack & label according to batch tickets
• Includes batching and processing of raw materials into finished goods
• Follow clearly prescribed routine procedures and established methods for production of various coatings and adhesives
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of job
• Determine color adjustments and coordinate with QC use of color spectrometer
• Perform various other QC tests on finished goods for approval to finish batch work
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor
• Report raw material discrepancies to applicable staff
• Ensure work area and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
• Conduct preventive maintenance duties on equipment as directed
• Follow prescribed safety rules, regulations and company policies regarding PPE
• Follow general safety and housekeeping procedures
• Contribute to a culture of safety, following protocols throughout the organization, and other internal policy/procedures
• Maintain working knowledge of company’s ISO 9001 policies and procedures
• Employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position
