Operations Manager
Salary: $130,000 + up to a 15% Bonus ($19,500)

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on, and highly visible Operations Manager to lead all aspects of site operations, including Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Facilities & Maintenance, Wastewater, Safety, and Continuous Improvement.
This role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration with HR, Quality, Process Engineering, Finance, and Sales to ensure alignment of resources and operational priorities in support of customer satisfaction and business goals.
The Operations Manager is accountable for achieving key manufacturing performance metrics, including product yields, uptime, productivity, and asset utilization. This position also ensures operations are appropriately sized across equipment, facility capacity, and workforce planning to support projected sales volumes.
Key Responsibilities- Champion and promote a Safety-First culture
. Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee and conduct regular floor walks and audits to proactively mitigate risk. - Lead and execute production plans to ensure on‑time customer delivery. Adjust schedules and priorities as needed to meet business objectives.
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and accountability to develop a culture focused on planning, ownership, and performance.
- Drive capacity expansion, productivity improvements, and process capability enhancements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Track, analyze, and report site performance metrics. Identify trends and communicate performance results and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.
- Maintain a highly visible presence on the manufacturing floor (minimum 40% of time), actively engaging in daily team communications and performance discussions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to align site initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing/Operations with demonstrated bottom-line impact
- Prior experience leading manufacturing operations and personnel required
- Wastewater and/or chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Must obtain a Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment License within 6–9 months of hire (if not currently licensed)
- Proven ability to create and manage departmental budgets
- Strong leadership, organizational, and motivational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems required;
Acumatica experience a plus - Strong time management skills with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Work primarily performed in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
