Print Technician - PEI

Summary:

The printing technician is responsible for the handling of thin sheets of metals, and the printing of these metals prior to the developing process.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Start up and shutdown of machine
• Set up of machine
• Machine Preventative Maintenance
• Understanding and proper completion of work order details and information
• Communication of machine repairs through COGZ (facilities software)
• Handling thin sheets of metals
• Printing metals for the developing process
• Other duties may be assigned outside of the scope of this job description, as business needs require. All employees are expected to have a team player attitude and contribute to the team needs.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Quality and safety oriented
• Basic computer skills and proficiency (use of MRP system)
• Strong attention to detail
• Good listener and communicator

• Adherence to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Time management skills - capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be performed primarily in a cleanroom environment with the proper use of PPE
• Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes
• Will require extended periods of standing
• Ability to lift (up to) 30 pounds
• Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting may be required
