The printing technician is responsible for the handling of thin sheets of metals, and the printing of these metals prior to the developing process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Start up and shutdown of machine
- Set up of machine
- Machine Preventative Maintenance
- Understanding and proper completion of work order details and information
- Communication of machine repairs through COGZ (facilities software)
- Handling thin sheets of metals
- Printing metals for the developing process
- Other duties may be assigned outside of the scope of this job description, as business needs require. All employees are expected to have a team player attitude and contribute to the team needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Quality and safety oriented
- Basic computer skills and proficiency (use of MRP system)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good listener and communicator
- Adherence to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Time management skills - capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Work will be performed primarily in a cleanroom environment with the proper use of PPE
- Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes
- Will require extended periods of standing
- Ability to lift (up to) 30 pounds
- Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting may be required
