Manufacturing Quality Inspector

This position works closely with a small, focused 2nd shift team in a detail-driven manufacturing environment where precision and craftsmanship matter. Using microscopes and specialized handheld tools, you will perform intricate finishing work that ensures our parts meet the highest standards. Responsibilities:

• Perform precision deburring under a microscope using small handheld tools to remove burrs and imperfections while maintaining critical part features and dimensions.
• Inspect parts for defects or damage before, during, and after deburring to ensure conformance to quality standards and prevent scrap.
• Handle components with extreme care to avoid surface damage, contamination, or dimensional impact that could result in rejected product.
• Follow work instructions, process documentation, and (when applicable) blueprints to ensure accuracy and repeatability of finished parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support efficiency, product protection, and a safe work environment.
• Communicate quality concerns or process issues to supervision to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using microscopes in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, delicate components
• Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 10 hours) and focus through a microscope for long durations
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
• Basic computer skills
