Overview

UMass Memorial Health caregiver opportunity. Exemption Status:
Non-Exempt. Hiring range: $37.75 - $79.52 per hour. Final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.

Schedule:

Holidays every other;
Mondays through Fridays with weekends every other weekend.

Hours:

Shift: Evening, 8 hours. Cost Center: 26000 - 0223. Union: MNA-Milford Regional Medical Center (Massachusetts Nurses Association). A signing bonus may be available; eligibility will be confirmed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.

Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.

Develop and coordinate individual plans of care including discharge planning.

Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.

Delegate appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.

Position Qualifications

License/Certification/

Education:

Required

Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.

BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 30 days of hire.

ACLS through AHA required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.

PALS through AHA required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.

NRP Advanced Provider through AAP required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner.

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred.

Experience/

Skills:

Required:
Thorough knowledge of the discipline of nursing. If certification, licensure, or registration is not required, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
