Senior Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support its web development and digital automation initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned QA professional with a strong background in eCommerce platforms, test automation, and modern development frameworks. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital products through robust testing strategies and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute quality assurance efforts across web and eCommerce development projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Karate Framework, and Cucumber (experience with at least two of these is required).
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless API testing and validation.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in web development and eCommerce environments.
• Strong automation expertise, particularly in Selenium Web Driver, Karate Framework, and/or Cucumber.
• Proficiency in Java for test development and scripting.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and API integration testing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated executive presence and confidence in presenting quality metrics and insights to leadership.
