Reagent technical Sales Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Reagent Technical Sales Specialist to support customers across New England as the technical expert for flow cytometry and antibody-based applications. This role is ideal for a Field Application Scientist, Application Scientist, or Flow Cytometry Specialist looking to leverage their scientific expertise in a highly consultative, customer-facing position.

This is not a traditional sales role. You will partner with scientists, researchers, and account managers to educate customers on flow cytometry workflows, antibody portfolios, and panel design while serving as a trusted technical resource.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for flow cytometry and antibody-based applications.
• Deliver technical presentations and educational seminars to scientists and research teams.
• Consult customers on panel design, optimization, and flow cytometry workflows.
• Partner with account managers during customer visits and scientific discussions.
• Build relationships with academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, and research institutions throughout the territory.
• Travel approximately 85% within Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire.

Compensation: $130,00 - $135,000 Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include: [description should be provided by the client since this is for a perm position- they will not receive IG benefits. • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or related life sciences field.
• 2+ years of hands-on flow cytometry experience.
• Experience designing and optimizing flow cytometry panels.
• Strong understanding of antibody-based applications and immunophenotyping.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Customer-facing experience or the ability to effectively educate scientific audiences.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
• Spectral flow cytometry experience.
• Large-panel design expertise.
• Experience as a Field Application Scientist or Application Scientist.
• Downstream flow cytometry data analysis experience.
• Experience supporting researchers in academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, or core lab environments.
