Company Overview

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, plus travel stipends.
Responsibilities- Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
- Display physical agility and ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally (5% of the time) and 50 lbs regularly (50% of the time).
- Submit accurate and signed time cards to Blaster/Foreman on a weekly basis.
- Learn safety aspects of working construction sites and explosives.
- Follow direction and perform construction laboring activities.
- Work unsupervised occasionally.
- Pump blast holes dry with water pump.
- Load and unload explosives from truck.
- Carry buckets of stemming stone to stem blast holes.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Attend all meetings and participate in monthly foreman, periodic safety, and job meetings as needed.
- Participate in daily heads‑up safety meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform job‑specific instruction provided by superintendents, blasting supervisors, or drill operators.
- Be safety‑minded and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Overtime and out‑of‑town travel may be required.
Position requires proficiency to work at a steady pace on uneven and loose surfaces outdoors. The role involves stooping and bending 60–70% of the time.
Qualifications- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and personal transportation; out‑of‑town/state travel required.
- Must successfully pass ATF screenings.
- Experience with construction labor and heavy equipment preferred.
- Ability to learn and develop skills to perform higher‑level tasks.
