Overview
Waters Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated high school Co-Op electrical student to work in the building maintenance department at our Milford campus. This student will assist licensed Electricians in all aspects of the building's electrical systems in a large office, manufacturing, and laboratory facility. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to get into the trades and you will gain hands‑on experience in the facilities environment.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of a licensed electrician, participate in both preventive and corrective maintenance work on electrical equipment
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and installations in large office, manufacturing, and laboratory facilities
- Learn to operate a variety of hand and power tools
- Under direction of supervisor, work with outside vendors on projects for electrical systems
- Perform other building maintenance tasks as required
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Must have completed Junior Year of High School
- Able to climb ladders and not afraid of heights
- Computer literacy with basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Operates with integrity, transparency, and has good work ethic - Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Physically capable to perform frequent walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, lifting and carrying, and tolerate exposure to warm and cold temperatures
