Job Description & How to Apply Below
Hello, it's nice to meet you. Thank you for clicking on our job opportunity to learn more!

Let’s start with an introduction. We are Boston Battery Wholesale, a franchise of Interstate Batteries. Have you heard of us before? It’s ok if you haven’t, we don’t take it personal. To keep it simple, we sell batteries, but not just any batteries, we sell only the Interstate Battery brand which just so happens to be considered the most reliable battery on the market and is the preferred brand among automotive professionals.

Not familiar with batteries? That’s ok, most of us weren’t either before we started working here, but now, we know more about batteries than we ever thought possible….or even wanted to know!

Come on, you know you want to be a battery expert like us. You can learn more about us at  but for now, keep reading to learn about a career opportunity.

About your future jobYou will be assigned to our Milford, MA location and a typical schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:30am until your route is complete, about 5pm, during our winter busy season (October thru February) & about 3:30pm during the other months. Yay, no nights & weekends! Your starting hourly rate of pay will be $24-$25, and we will determine the rate after we impress each other in the interview.

As a Route Delivery Driver, you are responsible for safely delivering batteries to our dealers/customers following the route you are assigned by our very cool Dispatcher. The goal is for our customers to only sell the Interstate Battery brand which will result in them buying more batteries from us. Oh, and a great perk, you will see the same customers on a biweekly basis so you may even make some new friends.

That is the short version of the job; there really is a lot more to it & it’s hard work. If you are looking for a ‘delivery driver job’ where you drop it and go, then THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. You will perform heavy lifting on a regular basis, work in all types of weather, expected to be outgoing, and you must enjoy building relationships with customers.
