In this role as a Sr. Engineer, you’ll lead high‑value projects, influence technical strategy, and help elevate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across a dynamic manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do…
- Lead process development, optimization, and prototype casting programs that meet performance, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Apply strong independent judgment to resolve complex engineering challenges and introduce new casting technologies that improve capability and efficiency.
Strengthen process reliability and product quality.
- Provide technical leadership across assigned process areas to enhance equipment performance, manufacturing methods, and process capability.
- Evaluate metallurgical and specification changes, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with production and design requirements.
- Recommend design or process modifications that improve product quality, manufacturability, or reliability.
Ensure successful audit and compliance outcomes.
- Support or lead NADCAP and customer audit preparation, execution, and response activities.
- Maintain strong process control and documentation that consistently meets audit expectations.
Lead and develop technical talent.
- Share expertise to support the growth of engineers and technicians, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Guide focused project teams to deliver new products or process improvements.
- Partner with design, production planning, and engineering teams to ensure process–design compatibility and smooth implementation of technical changes.
- Communicate clearly across functions and organizational levels to support alignment and decision‑making.
Consistently meet commitments and deliver results.
- Manage priorities effectively to deliver high‑quality work within agreed timelines.
- Produce clear technical documentation, including specifications, process studies, and reports that support decision‑making and operational improvement.
Who You Are…
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with metallurgy and metal casting concepts.
- Hands‑on experience with production casting of ferrous alloys and nickel‑based superalloys.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with technical modeling and statistical analysis tools.
