Physical Therapist
Location: Milford, NH

Pay: $60 per hour

Allied Travel Careers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Milford, New Hampshire, 03055!
Roles & Responsibilities- Evaluate patients’ functional needs and create clear, individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and independence
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve measurable outcomes
- Document care and outcomes thoroughly and timely in the facility EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
- Contribute to discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligible for licensure in New Hampshire
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Comfortable working day shifts across weekdays and weekends as needed
- Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills with excellent communication
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with nursing and rehab teams
- Available for a 13-week contract assignment (June 1 – Aug 29, 2026)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy or related field accepted
- Skilled in musculoskeletal and functional mobility assessments
- Proficient with therapeutic exercise, gait training, and assistive device training
- Knowledgeable in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities
- Familiar with documentation best practices and EMR workflows
- Strong clinical reasoning and outcome-driven treatment planning
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and family education
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
