Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing and sapphire component fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of high-quality sapphire components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Technician

Location: Milford, NH

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr

Shift: First Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm

• Engage in machining operations such as surface grinding, polishing, cylindrical grinding, and centerless grinding on sapphire components.
• Maintain and operate equipment, including setup, adjustments, and cleaning, ensuring optimal performance.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify work quality and ensure adherence to tight tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections and document data meticulously to maintain high standards of quality.
• Assist with material movement and seek guidance for intricate tasks to ensure safety and precision.

• At least one year of hands‑on machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in shop mathematics, including measurements, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and use measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers.
• Basic PC skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications or relevant software.
