Learning Disability Teacher Consultant
Alexandria Township School District is seeking a full time knowledgeable, collaborative, and student-centered Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant to join our Child Study Team for the school year. Requirements and qualifications include a valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with LDTC endorsement, knowledge of special education regulations, evaluation procedures & eligibility determination, ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents and related service providers, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive educational evaluations, participating in Child Study Team evaluations and eligibility meetings, developing and maintaining compliant evaluation reports and IEP documentation, serving as case manager for assigned students, collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents and outside agencies to support student success, attending IEP meetings and providing consultation regarding instructional programming and accommodations.
Effective:
August 24, 2026 - June 30, 2027
Terms of employment include a salary range of $65,890- $99,150 (as per the negotiated agreement) and benefits for full-time employees including medical, prescription and dental benefits.
