Forklift Operator-Early Morning Shift

Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Forklift Operator in Milford, NJ
.

• $24.50 per hour
• Potential to increase compensation based on skills and contribution.
• Eligible for Performance Pay program offering up to 6% quarterly bonus.

• Irregular shift Monday - Friday: 3am-11am; only candidates available for this shift will be considered.
• Includes overtime, holidays, and weekends.
• Milford operates on a point based attendance program.

• 1st shift:
  Monday – Friday 7am-3pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 2nd shift:
  Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm; weekends and overtime as needed
• 3rd shift:
  Monday – Friday 11pm-7am; weekends and overtime as needed

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and finished product using a forklift.
• Complete inventory/department documentation manually and using computer software.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and fueling equipment.

• 6+ months experience operating a forklift safely in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with shipping or logistics software (SAP, WMS, or similar).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or scan gun for documentation and record‑keeping functions.

• Strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud/noisy and industrial high‑volume environment.
