The Miami Township Police Department - a CALEA Internationally accredited police agency - is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license
- Must possess a valid Peace Officer certification issued by the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Council at the time of a conditional offer of employment

Lateral applicants are welcome to apply, and highly experienced applicants are eligible for top out pay, which is currently $47.27 per hour. Should you be a lateral applicant from out of state, we will assist with the Ohio Reciprocal Occupational Certificate application.
Police officers work 12-hour shifts and receive a scheduled three-day weekend twice a month. Assignment opportunities currently include SWAT operator, drone pilot, narcotics, honor guard, instructor, motorcycle unit, bicycle unit, and more!
