The Fraud Investigator Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Fraud Investigators (L1 and L2), ensuring effective fraud detection, investigation, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance. The role combines people leadership, operational management, quality oversight, and strategic fraud risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities- Team leadership, Fraud investigation oversight, Fraud risk management, Quality assurance, Stakeholder management, Operational excellence, Reporting and analytics
- Advanced fraud investigation methodologies, banking operations, ACH, wires, cards, fraud monitoring systems, analytics, and reporting
- Coaching, mentoring, performance management, decision making, stakeholder management, strategic planning, and change management.
- BSA, AML, OFAC, NACHA, Visa, Mastercard, consumer protection regulations, audit and risk management.
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
- Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)
- PMP (preferred)
- Investigation accuracy, fraud loss prevention, turnaround time, escalation quality, compliance adherence, SLA achievement, coaching effectiveness.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent accepted with 5-8+ years in Fraud Operations and 2-3 years leadership experience.
