Material Handler
Our client, an innovative organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Materials Handling Assistant to join their team. As a Materials Handling Assistant, you will be part of the Materials Handling department supporting shipping, receiving, inventory management, and operational support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Specialist
Location: Milford, OH
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shift: 1st shift, 40 hours per week
- C overage between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm. Schedule will be provided based on business needs.
What's the Job?
Assist with international and domestic shipping, including preparing documents, packaging, and scheduling pickups
Perform visual inspections of incoming deliveries and note any damages or discrepancies
Support inventory management through cycle counts, maintaining consumables, and managing stock levels
Assist with kitting, pulling items based on demand and BOM, and supporting outplant packaging and shipping
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure smooth daily operations
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED required
1-3 years of experience in materials management or related field
Recent forklift experience preferred
Proficiency with UPS & FEDEX systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform moderate to heavy lifting using pallet jacks
