Overview
PPG Packaging is looking for candidates for a Product Development Chemist position (PhD level) at our Research and Development Center in Milford, OH. You will support PPG in the development and commercialization of new coatings products, including advancing both current and next-generation coatings technologies for PPG's Food and Beverage Packaging business segment.
Key Responsibilities- Address complex challenges by applying broad chemical expertise alongside appropriate experimental and theoretical research methodologies
- Plan, lead, and execute experimental work essential to achieving project goals and driving the development of products for market introduction
- Provide technical support for a commercialized product
- Communicate scientific and technological information to leadership and global partners
