We’re a rapidly growing sign and re‑imaging company specializing in gas stations, commercial signage, and rebranding work across the region. Our team is built on accountability, skill, and pride in our craft. We don’t cut corners, and we don’t waste time. We’re building something real here—and if you’re someone who takes ownership, can train and mentor others, and lead by example, we want to meet you.
This isn’t just another install job. This is a leadership position for someone who’s mastered the trade and is ready to take ownership in the field.
C&B Signs is hiring a Lead Sign Installer to join our growing team. You’ll run the job site, lead installs from start to finish, and train the next generation of sign pros. We need someone who’s skilled, dependable, and takes pride in doing the job right—every time.
If you’ve been in the field for years and want to work for a company that respects your craftsmanship, values leadership over talk, and runs a tight ship, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:- Lead a field crew on all types of signage installs—gas station re‑imaging, pylon signs, monument signs, canopy branding, channel letters, lighted sign boxes, dimensional letters, and more
- Own the job site—keep things organized, clean, and safe, and ensure work is done to spec, on time, and with a high standard of quality
- Operate equipment like boom/bucket trucks, scissor lifts, power tools, and electrical hookup tools (low‑voltage knowledge is key)
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and site plans for exact placement and hardware layout
- Train and mentor junior team members—model the right work ethic, techniques, and safety habits
- Troubleshoot onsite problems, work directly with project managers and clients, and keep communication flowing
- Help prep materials in the shop when needed—cutting substrates, staging gear, loading trucks, etc.
- Travel Required (20%)
- 3+ years of experience in signage installation, ideally with electrical signage and/or fuel station rebranding
- Strong working knowledge of tools, hardware, and basic electrical systems
- Leadership experience in the field—you know how to get a crew moving without yelling or babysitting
- A strong understanding of safety, efficiency, and jobsite professionalism
- The ability to lift 75 lbs, work outdoors in all conditions, and climb ladders or operate lifts at height
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (DOT card or ability to obtain one required)
- Welding, high‑rise, or canopy install experience is a plus but not required
