Mill Creek Law is looking to add a bookkeeper and office administrator to our team of skilled support staff. The administrator’s primary responsibilities will be managing our billing software, in-house employee hour tracking, trust account bookkeeping and coordination with outside bookkeeping support, in addition to supporting legal assistants and other staff members. Areas of responsibility will include:
- Managing TABS3 Billing software and client invoicing;
- IOLTA Trust accounting and management of individual client trust accounts as needed;
- Preparation, coordination and accounting of deposits for general and trust accounts;
- Coordination with outside bookkeeping services for bank statement review, payroll and general bookkeeping managed by outsourced bookkeeper;
- Internal monthly receipt allocation tracking for attorneys;
- Office administration duties such as employee time tracking, supply ordering and new hire paperwork management;
- Assisting legal assistants with overflow work and providing backup support during periods of annual or personal leave; and
- Providing backup support for reception and office or client services functions.
- 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced legal environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience in communication with clients;
- Ability to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating needs;
- High degree of organization, professionalism and dependability;
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, TABS3 Billing Software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat; and
- Must display a professional manner with clients, lawyers, paralegals and other staff members.
Mill Creek Law offers a competitive total compensation package with salary commensurate with experience. Expected compensation range commensurate with experience of $55,000 - $70,000 per year. Benefits including but not limited to:
