As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company while you process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You are expected to accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change, assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints, follow all front‑end procedures, and support stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed.

You must maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, give customers directions to product locations, be familiar with events and seminars, and communicate effectively with the front‑end manager and Head Cashier at all times. You must keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform other related duties as assigned.

To be a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Exhibit an outgoing and friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers.
• Be able to operate front‑end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner.
• Be dependable and able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have good communication skills, accept direction and constructive criticism, and work well in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Lift or carry product horizontally or vertically up to 30 lbs. from 36″ to 24″ over a distance of up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs. over a distance of up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours.
• Pay close attention to detail, handle cash accurately, perform mathematical tasks, and read, write, and count.

The pay range for this position is $17.30 – $21.75 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications.
