Position: Part Time - Loader/Cart Associate - Flexible

What You Will Do

As a Customer Service Associate/Loader, you will deliver quality customer service, maintain a clean and safe store, and ensure shelves are stocked with the products customers need.

  • Speak friendly, professional, and engagingly with customers to answer questions.
  • Retrieve, load, and replenish merchandise.
  • Help customers and staff move merchandise safely.
  • Assist customers by loading merchandise into their vehicles and replenish shelves for the next customers.
  • Follow safety procedures when lifting and moving merchandise.

Travel Requirements:
This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores.

What We're Looking For
  • Hourly Full Time or Part Time:
    Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or up to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.
  • Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to fulfill job duties.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
  • 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of retail experience.
  • 6 months of experience as a Loader at any home improvement or hardware retailer.
  • 6 months of experience working in any department at a Lowe’s retail store.
  • 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
  • 6 months of experience inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloading product or material in or out of vehicles.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $19.45 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
