Who are you?
You are an experienced Deployment Manager with a strong background in Salesforce implementations, particularly within CPQ (Steelbrick) and/or Agentforce Revenue Management (ARM). You excel at leading deployment planning and execution across complex, multi-phase implementations, ensuring high-quality releases and seamless transitions to production. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced consulting environments. You bring a strong understanding of release management, environments, and governance, and can effectively coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Own and manage the end-to-end deployment strategy for Salesforce CPQ and/or ARM implementations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute releases across multiple environments (dev, QA, UAT, production).
- Define and enforce deployment governance, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, QA, and client stakeholders to ensure release readiness.
- Manage release schedules, dependencies, risks, and communication across project teams.
- Oversee code and configuration migration using tools such as CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.
- Lead go-live planning activities including cutover strategy, rollback planning, and hypercare support.
- Ensure proper testing and validation processes are completed prior to deployment.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) support and defect triage related to releases.
- Monitor and resolve deployment issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, tools, and standards.
- Maintain documentation for release processes, deployment procedures, and environment management.
- Partner with clients to align deployment strategy with business priorities and timelines.
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce implementations, with a focus on deployment or release management.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) and/or Agentforce Revenue Management (ARM).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce environments, metadata, and deployment tools (e.g., Dev Ops Center, Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or similar).
- Experience managing deployments in complex, multi-org or enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving skills related to release execution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple releases and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with Agentforce Revenue Management (ARM) including RCA and RCB and broader Revenue Cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle) and middleware platforms (e.g., Mule Soft, Workato).
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, CPQ Specialist preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and Dev Ops practices in Salesforce ecosystems.
- Background in High Tech, Manufacturing, SaaS, or subscription-based business models.
- Experience working in a consulting or client services organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field.
