Specialty Service

Our Mill Valley store is seeking a Full Time Specialty Service Staff Member.

As a Good Earth Specialty Service Staff Member, you will provide customer service, while keeping our Specialty department organized and stocked. We are seeking someone with a passion for food, who delights in giving great service, and is highly detail oriented. The role will include cheese cutting and wrapping, merchandising, food prep, wine & beer stocking, and sales.

Our Specialty department focuses on organic and sustainable products sourced primarily from many of our local farms and wineries.

• Cutting, wrapping, and prepping cheeses
• Managing back stock and maintaining stocking systems
• Maintaining well organized and visually appealing shelf sets and signage
• Working with Department Manager and Category manager on new item placement, category resets, and promotional displays
• Developing strong product knowledge and sharing with staff and customers
• Providing exceptional service to our customers

• Passion for food, and an interest in learning more about cheese, wine, and beer. We are willing to train the right candidate
• Knowledge of natural foods products, and desire to learn more about organic systems
• Previous experience in a high-volume retail setting
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to be on feet all day, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly
