job title: Landscape maintenance Crew Leader

Are you an experienced landscape professional who is ready to run your own business but lacks the capital to start from scratch? We are an established, reputable landscape maintenance company servicing premium properties across Marin County and San Francisco. The owner is preparing for retirement and is looking for an ambitious, highly capable Crew Leader to take over daily field operations.

For the right individual, this role includes a structured pathway to buy and own the entire company as the owner transitions out of the business.

Key Responsibilities & Progression
  • Phase 1 (The Foundation):
Lead a 2-to-4 person crew daily, ensuring routes in SF and Marin are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Phase 2 (The Transition):
Learn the backend operations, including client relationship management, quoting, bidding, and route optimization.
  • Phase 3 (The Takeover):
Transition into full company ownership through a mutually agreed-upon, structured buyout plan.
Job Requirements (Strictly Enforced)
  • Experience:

Minimum 3+ years of professional landscape maintenance experience with crew leadership background.
  • Driver's License:
Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record (must be insurable on our company truck policy).
  • Ambition:
Strong entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, and a serious interest in business ownership.
