Special Education Assistant

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in caring for and reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom or other learning environment; assist students with performing academic tasks, daily living/life skills, behavior management and special health care activities as assigned by classroom teachers or administrators. Training is provided.

Upon receipt of all required documents as listed, your application will be reviewed for education requirements per the job description. If required credits or degree(s) are not available, a mandatory competency test will be arranged and administered by the District Office.
