Bay Area Learning Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated After school Center Lead Teacher to guide and inspire 3rd–5th grade students in our Millbrae, CA location. • Lead and manage a classroom of 3rd–5th grade students in a dynamic after school setting
• Plan and implement engaging academic support activities, homework help, and enrichment programs
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, tutors, or interns
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and program coordinators regarding student progress
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies
• Ensure student safety and well‑being throughout all program activities

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational setting
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Ability to create engaging, age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff
• Must pass a background check and meet California childcare compliance requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
