Sales Development Rep/SDR, Real Estate Sales
We're looking for someone hungry, organized, and ready to learn how to build pipelines that drive real business growth.
At OWN Real Estate, we're a 20-agent team producing $200M+ annually across the Bay Area. We're growing deliberately—adding the right agents and consistently generating seller opportunities. This role is your entry point into managing the relationships and processes that make it happen.
You'll work directly with leadership to manage two critical pipelines: recruiting talented real estate agents to join our team, and converting seller leads into listing appointments.
The RoleYou'll support and execute pipeline management across two core functions:
- Agent Recruiting (50%) — Follow up with potential agent recruits, schedule interviews, manage candidate relationships, and help close talented agents who want to join a high-performing team. You'll learn how to identify top talent, qualify candidates, and build relationships that lead to commitments.
- Seller Lead Management (50%) — Respond to inbound seller inquiries, qualify homeowners considering selling, schedule listing consultations for our agents, and maintain consistent follow-up. You'll learn how to have discovery conversations, handle objections, and nurture long‑term relationships.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll build skills in sales, recruiting, relationship management, and pipeline operations—with direct mentorship from experienced leadership.
Responsibilities- Reach out to potential agent recruits and initiate conversations
- Conduct initial screening calls to understand their background and interest level
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with the leadership team
- Maintain candidate pipeline in CRM with consistent follow‑up
- Nurture relationships with agents who aren't ready to move yet
- Track recruiting metrics and pipeline health
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Research competitive market intelligence on other brokerages
- Respond quickly to inbound seller inquiries (phone, email, web forms)
- Conduct discovery calls to understand timeline, motivation, and property details
- Qualify leads and schedule listing consultations for agents
- Maintain organized follow‑up campaigns for long‑term prospects
- Update CRM records accurately and consistently
- Track response times, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics
- Build relationships with homeowners planning to sell in the future
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records for both pipelines
- Execute email and text follow‑up campaigns
- Prepare weekly pipeline reports and metrics
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements
- Coordinate between agents, candidates, and leadership
- Support marketing campaigns that generate leads and attract recruits
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, recruiting, customer service, or a client‑facing role
- Strong communication skills—comfortable on phone, email, and video
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Coachable mindset—willing to learn and take feedback
- Comfortable with technology and learning new systems quickly
- Resilience and persistence—you'll hear "no" often
- Experience with CRM systems or pipeline management
- Interest in real estate (license not required)
- Background in recruiting, sales development, or account management
- Familiarity with Bay Area geography and neighborhoods
- College degree or equivalent professional experience

Compensation$75,000 ‑ $91,000 yearly
