Overview
Cardinal Hayes Home for Children for Children is seeking an Assistant Residential Supervisor to join our agency and oversee the daily operations of our Intermediate Care Facility and individuals with developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit agency in Millbrook, NY responsible for ensuring that all residents are cared for, that their needs are understood, that their preferences are followed, and that their rights are protected.

What you will need for this role:
Applicants for this full-time leadership position must be able to multi-task; providing supervision and guidance on the floor, including training staff, monitoring staff performance, and providing direction and correction as necessary. This position works Tuesday-Saturday (hours flex, primarily 2nd shift).
- 2-3 years of experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
- Medication Administration Certification or demonstrate the capacity to obtain certification.
- Demonstrates good working ethic.
- NYS Driver’s License.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Proficiency in speaking, writing and reading English.
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
- Perform duties of direct care staff, including hands-on care and treatment of residents.
- Models and ensures proper care, treatment, supervision, and safety of residents.
- Act as house representative on the agency’s Recreation Council.
- Attend/Conduct staff meetings and other program meetings as assigned.
- Maintain a positive, pleasant, and professional demeanor.
- In absence of Residential Supervisor, assume operation of the house.
Tues 1:00p-8:30p, Wed 1:00p – 8:00p, Thurs 1:00p – 8:00p, Fri 1:00p – 8:00p, Sat 1:00 pm- 8:30p
