Assistant Manager; Highway

Overview

You were born to be the boss. Domino’s Pizza is hiring Assistant Managers who will be responsible for ensuring that all store operations run smoothly, including cost controls, inventory and cash handling, customer relations, staffing, and compliance with all policies and procedures.

• Oversee all daily store operations during the shift.
• Maintain cost controls, inventory control, and cash control.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage customer relations.
• Staff and lead team members, manage schedules, and provide training.
• Handle paperwork, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure marketing materials are displayed.
• Apply and enforce company policies and standards, including safety and quality control.
• Support franchise and corporate initiatives and demonstrate a drive for profitability.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate all store equipment and use a computer or touchscreen to enter orders.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately and quickly.
• Strong motor coordination and manual dexterity for rapid, accurate handling of food and packaging.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for correct monetary change.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work in varying temperatures, exposure to food odors, and basic physical demands (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, etc.).
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle if required for deliveries.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods; lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, and pulling trays and ingredients; bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching both above and below 72 in. All duties are performed in varying temperatures ranging from 36 °F to over 90 °F, with exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
