Senior Accountant
Hybrid role available! An insurance company in Morris County, NJ is seeking a senior accountant to join its finance team. This role will be responsible for month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and GAAP/STAT reporting related to the company's investment portfolio, including fixed income, equities, mortgage loans, cash equivalents, and alternative investments. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of financial accounting experience, strong excel skills, and exposure to insurance and statutory accounting;
CPA is preferred but not a requirement.
