Telecom Project Coordinator
The Telecom Project Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting project execution from start to finish within a fast-paced, detail-oriented telecom and construction environment. This position focuses on scheduling, coordinating traffic control and police details, tracking job progress, supporting billing tasks, and ensuring accurate closeout documentation. The Telecom Project Coordinator works closely with field teams, office staff, clients, and vendors to keep projects organized and moving efficiently.
Shift: Full-time, in-office (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
- Coordinate job scheduling across multiple crews, markets, and accounts to maintain smooth workflow as a Telecom Project Coordinator.
- Schedule and confirm traffic control and police details for job sites.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate internal records.
- Assist with as-builts, closeout packages, and job documentation.
- Support administrative billing tasks, including compiling job data and backup materials.
- Communicate with field teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain organized digital files and job tracking systems (One Drive, shared drives, etc.).
- Assist leadership with operational and administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- 13 years of experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role (construction or telecom preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslykey strengths for a Telecom Project Coordinator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Drive).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, especially PDF editing.
- Experience with Visio preferred.
- Scheduling or dispatching experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction workflows, permits, or utility coordination is a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
