HN- Housekeeper​/Morning Nanny - Short Hills, NJ

Overview

A family in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a full-time, live-out housekeeper/nanny for their home. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 6:45am-2:45pm. The housekeeping duties will be when the children are in school or under the care of the other nanny (beginning at 12:15pm). The children's ages are 4, 6, and 8. The youngest is in school 4 days a week Tuesday - Friday 8:30am-12:30pm;

the two older children go to school together 7:50am-3pm.

• Waking the children up in the morning, getting them ready for school (dressed, brushing their teeth and hair), preparing a relatively simple breakfast for them (oatmeal, eggs and toast, yogurt parfait, French toast, etc.)
• Taking the children to school; 2 children attend the same school within a 3-minute drive and the other child attends a school within 5 minutes to the home
• Family laundry
• 2x weekly laundering of bedlinens and towels
• General housecleaning for the 6,000 sq. ft. home
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
• Managing trash and recycling
• Grocery shopping for the family as needed
• Home organization including closets, drawers, kitchen, garage and all shared spaces
• Light errands for the family including dropping off dry cleaning for family and package pickups/returns
• Filling family car with gas on a weekly basis
• Being backup childcare if a child is home sick or out of school until the afternoon nanny arrives at 12:15pm.
• The family does request that the candidate to hire be flexible and willing to take on additional time in the instances when the other nanny is sick or on vacation to allow for the smooth running of the household and avoid disruption to the parents’ work schedules.

• Must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record; the candidate to hire will have use of a shared family car with insurance provided

• $40-$45/hour depending on experience and qualifications
