A well-established private anesthesia group in the Short Hills, New Jersey area is seeking an experienced, board-certified Anesthesiologist to join its collaborative team as a permanent member. You’ll provide anesthesia services for a diverse range of outpatient surgical procedures with a primary focus on orthopedics and regional blocks, along with pain management sedation and general surgery cases. • Administer anesthesia for outpatient procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the perioperative process
• Perform regional blocks and conduct thorough preoperative evaluations to assess patient needs and risks
• Provide postoperative care, monitoring patient recovery and addressing immediate post-surgical needs
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes in a team-oriented environment
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in accordance with regulatory standards
• Stay current on advancements in anesthesia techniques, protocols, and best practices

Your diverse outpatient caseload will focus primarily on:

• Orthopedic procedures
• Regional anesthesia and nerve blocks
• Pain management sedation
• General surgery

• MD or DO with board certification in Anesthesiology
• Active New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proficiency in performing regional blocks and managing anesthesia for diverse surgical cases
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to collaborative teamwork
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced outpatient setting while maintaining high standards of care
