Seriously Addictive Math (S.A.M.) Singapore Math of Millburn / Short Hills is seeking passionate, dynamic part-time instructors to teach our award-winning math and English enrichment programs for children ages 4 to 14.

As the world’s largest Singapore Math enrichment provider, with over 200 centers across more than 20 countries, S.A.M. is recognized for building deep mathematical understanding and strong language skills that last a lifetime.

Families in Millburn and surrounding districts, including Millburn, Livingston, Summit, South Orange Maplewood, West Orange, Chatham, and Berkeley Heights, value conceptual learning and academic rigor. Many local schools already use Singapore Math inspired curricula such as Math in Focus and Primary Mathematics.

Parents look for enrichment programs that go beyond memorization and worksheets. At S.A.M., students develop number sense, problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and strong English foundations, giving them the confidence to thrive both in and out of school.

You will play a key role in helping students achieve this mastery.

• Teach small group classes for students ages 4 to 14 in Math and English.
• Review and grade student work, tracking progress and providing feedback.
• Maintain open communication with the Center Director and parents.
• Create a supportive, engaging, and fun learning environment.

• Weekdays 4-8PM, Weekends 9AM-1 PM
  There is a ramp up time initially. as students start to enroll. Additional hours may be added as enrollment grows.

• Strong understanding of elementary and middle school math and English.
• Confident, clear communicator who enjoys working with children.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, patient, and reliable.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience with children.
• Familiarity with Singapore Math or phonics-based English programs.
