• Use company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced students to lead small classes in language arts.
• Actively involve students in each class or encourage student‑led learning.
• Expertly manage up to 16 students.
• Provide feedback on tests and assignments.
• Connect with students and families to make a lasting impact.
• Encourage a love for learning and critical thinking in language arts.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar.
• Classroom teaching experience at the K‑12 level is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field.
• Teaching credential is not required.

• After school program with classes in the evenings and on weekends.
• Minimum initial commitment of about 3 hours per week for each assigned class.
• Each course meets once per week for 1 hour 45 minutes.

Honors Language Arts 3: Students develop intermediate reading, writing, and grammar skills while exploring Ancient Greece. Students study Greek myths to strengthen reading comprehension and explore genre‑specific writing techniques. They produce multiple narrative and persuasive texts, refine public speaking skills, and build foundations for independent thinking.

Honors Language Arts 4: Students analyze pivotal moments in American history through a wide range of works. They act as historical analysts, advocates, and creative writers, conducting research and crafting sophisticated arguments. Students finish with skills to write clear analytical essays and creative narratives showcasing mastery of language arts within historical inquiry.

• Honors Language Arts 3 – Sunday 9:45 AM - 11:30 AM
• Honors Language Arts 4 – Sunday 2:45 PM - 4:30 PM

• This is an in‑person position at our Millburn Campus (788 Morris Turnpike, Short Hills, NJ. 07078).
• Candidates must be located in Millburn/Short Hills, NJ or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.

• Pay: $35.00 – $35.25 per hour.
