Fund Accounting Manager

Leading global alternative investment manager is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting AVP to join its Private Wealth Solutions Fund Finance team. This group is responsible for fund performance reporting and end-to-end accounting for large, multi-asset private investment vehicles. The role offers exposure to complex fund structures, close collaboration with front office and investor relations teams, and involvement in high-visibility reporting and regulatory processes.

The Fund Finance team oversees daily accounting, financial reporting, and limited partner reporting for private equity and multi-asset funds. The team also partners closely with portfolio management, investor relations, tax, and compliance to support fund operations and investor needs.

• Review daily cash movements and investment activity
• Monitor and report on credit facility usage
• Review journal entries and perform general ledger account analysis
• Coordinate capital calls and investor distributions
• Review waterfall and allocation calculations
• Review management fee calculations and billing statements
• Prepare quarterly and audited annual financial statements, including disclosures
• Prepare quarterly capital account statements and corporate reporting packages
• Respond to investor inquiries and support investor relations initiatives
• Manage regulatory filings (e.g., Form PF, AIFMD)
• Partner with tax compliance teams to ensure accurate and complete reporting data
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc internal requests

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and levels of seniority
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
