Position:
Associate – SEC & Financial Reporting Team. The role is based in Short Hills, NJ and reports to the head of SEC and Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation of the company’s external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual filings (Form
    10‑Q/K, Form8‑K, proxy statement and other SEC documents), ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Support quarterly earnings and management reporting materials, such as Audit Committee and Board meeting documents.
  • Prepare firm‑wide AUM and fundraising data.
  • Prepare disclosure checklists, disclosure committee materials and statutory financial statements under U.S. and international reporting standards.
  • Coordinate among various teams to facilitate an efficient close and reporting process.
  • Build strong relationships within the finance/accounting group and internal departments (product fund accounting, platform, legal & compliance, corporate development, investor operations, marketing, investor relations).
  • Provide guidance, training and feedback to offshore team members, reviewing key deliverables to support skill development and consistent delivery.
  • Identify gaps in current reporting processes and participate in implementing new controls and strategic solutions to improve processes, resolve inefficiencies and document tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and interpret accounting standard and regulatory changes.
  • Assist with quarterly review / annual audit requests and maintain procedures documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science or related fields.
  • 2‑5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • CPA preferred; experience at a Big‑Four or financial services/alternative asset manager firm preferred.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.
  • Advanced Excel skills; programming language/database experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highest level of ethics and integrity.
  • Demonstrated drive for results and ability to prioritize risks and projects in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent planning, organization and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with intellectual curiosity to learn more.
  • XBRL experience a plus.
  • Experience with Workiva a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle or other general ledger systems, including processing journal entries, a plus.
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills a plus.
  • Experience using modern AI tools (prompt‑based assistants, workflow automation) to streamline processes and enhance output quality a plus.

Salary:
The base annual salary range for this New Jersey‑based position is $105,000‑$115,000, with potential discretionary bonuses based on performance.
