Position Summary

As a Wax Specialist at European Wax Center, you play a crucial role in delivering exceptional waxing services to our valued guests. Your expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence will contribute to creating a positive and confidence-boosting experience.

• Perform high-quality waxing services following European Wax Center standards, protocols, and techniques.
• Build and maintain a book of business, retaining guests through rebooking scripts and delivering an outstanding guest experience that results in 100% guest satisfaction.
• Educate guests on the European Wax Center product line to enhance their experience and results.
• Uphold brand standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene in all waxing suites.
• Maintain Wax Specialist Key Performance Indicators (KPI) according to brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment by upholding the core values of teamwork, winning, energy, and commitment.
• Train and role‑model expected behaviors and processes stipulated by European Wax Center.

• Must work effectively in stressful environments and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Must adapt to changing activity levels and business requirements.
• Most work performed indoors with moderate, controlled temperature.
• Must stand or sit at a desk for up to several hours per day; standing, walking, and sitting are required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Conversations with clients, coworkers, and management are continuous and audible.
• Must be able to maneuver between simultaneous tasks and maintain a well‑paced workflow.

• Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for clear and effective guest consultations.
• Strong attention to detail ensuring precise and efficient waxing services.
• Self‑motivated and process‑focused with the ability to adapt to varying guest preferences and comfort levels.
• Knowledge of skincare and waxing products with the ability to recommend products based on individual guest needs.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Adherence to all state sanitation and licensing requirements.
