Pay Range: $93,150.00 - $ per year

• Blood Bank / Transfusion Service day-to-day operational oversight; ensure safe, accurate, and timely provision of blood and blood components.
• Provide technical leadership, staff supervision, regulatory compliance oversight, and quality assurance in accordance with AABB, CAP, CLIA, FDA, and hospital policies.
• Supervise duties related to record documentation; consult with Medical Director and Administrative Director on regulatory compliance updates.
• Participate in the administrative and budgetary operations of the section.

• Education Training Certification/Licensure
• Bachelor of Science or Medical Technology degree
• ASCP or NCA certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a medical technologist
• Must meet the requirements for qualification of laboratory supervisor as stated by the State of New Jersey and the CAP accreditation guidelines
• Must work weekends and holidays as a general supervisor

The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
