Job OverviewThe X-ray Technician performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians and APP's in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. The X-ray Technologist ensures quality imaging, radiation safety, and efficient workflow in the clinic.
Qualifications:Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray Technician in a hospital or physician's office
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- EPIC knowledge is a plus
- Working with Carestream XR machine and Horizon Health Care PACS is a plus
- Experience with non-weight bearing patients/stretcher patients is a plus
- Knowledge of leg length series is a plus
Required:
- AART
- NJ Radiologic Tech License
- CPR Certification approved by the American Heart Association
- 12:00pm - 5:00pm 16hours per week
- Monday and Thursday
- Part-Time
- 40 x-rays per day
- Multiple views for Sports Medicine, Trauma and Joint Replacement, Upper Ext, Lower Ext, and Spine
- Other duties as assigned
