Overview

The Specialist, Talent Analytics is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights informing workforce planning, talent management, and organizational talent decision‑making. This role will transform raw data into detailed storytelling, partnering with key stakeholders throughout the system to understand workforce planning and talent management priorities and strategies. The specialist will be a critical member of the CoE to improve talent strategies, enhance workforce outcomes, and drive talent solutions.

Workforce

& Talent Insights
  • Leverage various tools including Peoplesoft, Position Manager, Symplr, Excel, Tableau, Service Now, and Press Ganey to pull and synthesize data/reports to view and understand data in different ways in order to disseminate and deliver information to various stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver insights, dashboards, and analyses supporting workforce planning, succession management, talent development, and talent pipeline strategies.
  • Analyze trends related to talent, internal mobility, organization and talent performance and talent supply/demand.
  • Build predictive models and scenario analyses to forecast workforce needs and guide strategic decisions.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain and enhance Talent Management analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting suites.
  • Standardize and automate recurring talent and workforce reports for HR and business stakeholders.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Builds strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Recruiting, Finance and site‑based teams to understand needs and deliver relevant analytical insights.
  • Provide consultation on metrics definitions, data interpretation, and analytical best practices.
  • Present findings to various stakeholders – facility senior leadership, HR Site Leaders, etc. in a clear, compelling manner, enabling leaders of all levels to make data‑informed talent decisions.
Advanced Analytics & Problem Solving
  • Apply statistical methods, data mining, and modeling techniques to uncover drivers of workforce outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance TM processes with data, analytics, and evidence‑based approaches.
  • Support the development of KPIs, measurement strategies, and benchmarks for key talent programs.
  • Support programs and business teams in the creation of identified solutions; recommend scaling or adjustments based on measured results from stakeholder perspectives.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business analytics, data science, statistics, industrial/organizational psychology, or a related field.
  • Masters preferred.
  • Experience with statistical software or programming languages – e.g., Python or SQL.
  • 2‑4 years of experience in people analytics, HR reporting, business analytics, or related analytical role.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools – e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Workday, SAP, or similar.
  • Strong skills in Excel, including advanced functions, modeling, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with HR datasets and standard HR metrics.
  • Ability to interpret data insights and communicate them clearly to non‑technical audiences.
