Data Engineer II

Location: 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052

Department: ITS Research and Data Science

Pay Range: $75,597.00 - $ per year

• Provide subject matter expertise for Epic Cosmos.
• Act as an honest broker for Epic Cosmos Data Science.
• Create data assets within Cosmos Data Science for approved research.
• Provide auditable documentation for work related to Epic Cosmos Data Science.

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

• Mid-level experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar role.
• Knowledge of SQL query language.
• Data integration knowledge (SSIS, Informatica, or similar ETL tools).
• Knowledge of data acquisition through API/REST/JSON, No
  
  SQL, RDBMS.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL, SSIS, and DBA tasks.

Licenses & Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications in traditional database management and cloud platform certifications.

Key Competencies (Mid‑level):

• Working with databases and data management.
• SQL, relational database design, SSIS;
  Talend experience is a plus.
• Adaptability, flexibility to changing business needs.
