A Typical Day

• Maintains positive relationships with all customers, employee, physician, patient, visitor and guests
• Establish & maintain an effective level of service coordination and communications with all users, groups and other technical staffs
• Uses sound employee relations practices and maintains high level of visibility and accessibility
• Works in a timely fashion to ensure all customer requests and inquiries are worked on or acknowledged
• Define goals and objectives for the levels of service to be provided to end users & establish /maintain programs which monitor & ensure that those objectives are met
• Provide the necessary resources for controlled support and growth of the Server/Cloud infrastructure
• Provides innovative ideas to help improve quality services and productivity continually evaluates workflow and reports problems when found
• Controls expenditures involved in the Cloud/Server infrastructure
• Allocates and schedules resources based upon the needs of the various facilities and projects
• Utilizes resources both labor and non-labor to maximize efficiency and quality
• Manage contracted resources and vendor relationships
• Assess new projects for server/cloud/storage costs and resources
• Report assessments to Senior Management
• Provide server/cloud guidance, direction and support for major upgrades of systems within the enterprise
• Completes special projects according to the established guidelines and time frames of the request
• Effective time management skills are completed without jeopardizing normal daily work requirements
• Establish, document and enforce server/cloud/storage standards to ensure a consistent, efficient, maintainable and secure environment
• Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance service levels

This Role Might Be For You If ..

• Provide overall management, direction and coordination of Server/Cloud Infrastructure, problem management and change management efforts
• Provide long range Server/Cloud technology planning, and all administrative functions related to the operation for the entire Enterprise Health system
• Responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the Server/Cloud infrastructure for the enterprise Health system
• Work within the team of technical resources across architecture, engineering and operations to provide guidance to new projects and current technical operation
• Work with cross-functional teams to map user requirements to detailed technical requirements for Server/Cloud infrastructure
• Responsible for designing, building and maintaining server/cloud infrastructure to support of RWJBH Hospital, ancillary and Corporate infrastructure
• Responsible for lifecycle management and continuous improvement of server/cloud technology
• Provide server/cloud technology vision, enable innovation, and implement the technology trends that can create business value
• Ensure server/cloud, performance, scalability, availability, reliability, Reporting and monitoring across the Enterprise
• Partner with engineering leaders, business owners, & help drive progress on strategic server/cloud initiatives
• Oversee all people management activities for server/cloud team including staffing, planning, performance management, training and career development

To Be Considered

Required:

• Bachelor of Information Systems or graduate of technology school or another related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10 or More years of IT and business industry work experience with at least 5 years of leadership
• Experience in managing cross functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management
• Experience in areas such as Server, cloud, & storage technologies required

Preferred:

• Experience in the healthcare field preferred
