Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage personal injury cases from pre-litigation through the transition to litigation status. Your daily tasks will include:
  • Case Management: Handle pre-litigation intake, data entry, and investigation. Maintain open communication with clients regarding insurance status, medical treatment, and case updates.
  • Medical Coordination: Coordinate with medical providers to ensure timely processing of bills, manage client treatment schedules, obtain medical records, and negotiate provider bills.
  • Administrative Operations: Schedule client office visits and relevant appointments (IMEs, EUOs, Recorded Statements). Organize both physical and digital files to preserve an updated case record system.
  • Communication: Report claims to insurance carriers and send pre-litigation correspondence to all relevant parties. Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Data & Analysis: Assist in Excel-based data analysis and produce progress reports. Adapt to new software to improve current processes.
  • Settlement Support: Provide assistance with case settlements and assist attorneys in pre-litigation case investigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred), Paralegal Certification/Associate's Degree, OR 3 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Software Experience: At least 1 year of experience using Case Management Software (e.g., Clio, File Vine, Needles).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF conversion software.
  • Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Superior time management, ability to multitask under tight deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and a strong desire to expand knowledge of Personal Injury law.
