Ready to take the next step in your manufacturing leadership career? As a Production Manager, you will lead daily manufacturing operations at the Millburn Radioligand Therapy site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and reliability. In this highly visible leadership role, you will oversee production teams, optimize resources to meet business demand, support compliance and inspection readiness, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

This opportunity offers broad exposure across site operations and cross-functional partnerships while allowing you to further develop your people's leadership and manufacturing expertise in support of delivering innovative therapies to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production execution.
  • Optimize staffing and resource allocation to meet production schedules and business demand.
  • Ensure products are manufactured, inspected, stored, and released according to approved procedures.
  • Author, review, and approve manufacturing and quality documentation within GMP environment.
  • Drive investigations, corrective actions, and compliance activities to support operational excellence.
  • Develop, coach, and maintain a qualified production workforce through training and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, continuous improvement, and inspection readiness.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum four years of experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing including prior leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience authoring, reviewing, and approving manufacturing and quality documentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to drive collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across functions.
Desirable Requirements
  • Prior experience or training in radiochemistry or radio pharmacy.
Salary

The salary for this position is expected to range between $98,700 and $183,300 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.

US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
