* YOU WILL BE:

** The Restaurant Server serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner consistent to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus.
*
* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

*** Serves assigned seating section of dining area in a professional and gracious manner
* Utilizes thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items
* Leverages knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
* Interacts graciously with the public and handles multiple duties at the same time
* Participates in daily pre-shift meeting
* Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment, and maintains knowledge of the POS system
* Executes pre-shift, post-shift, and daily and weekly duties as assigned by supervisor
* Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)
* Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation
* Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:
* Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes
* Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks
* Exercises integrity with scheduling
* Punches in before and out after every scheduled shift
* Follows established procedure for schedule and shift changes
* Takes appropriate lunch breaks when applicable, punching accordingly
* Coordinates holiday, vacation, and any time off with management while considering the needs of the restaurant
** WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
*** High School diploma or GED preferred
* Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines
* Ability to work autonomously
* Motivated and results-driven
* Thorough knowledge of order of service and proper placement of table settings (e.g., china, glass, flatware), food, and beverage as indicated by the kitchen ticket and the guidebook
* Thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology
* Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time
* Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills* "Win together" mentality
* Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds
* Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
